A Young Woman Engages In Heavy And Excessive Drinking And Receives Exceptional Help At An Alcohol Rehabilitation Facility For Alcohol Withdrawals And Symptoms Of Alcoholism
Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite anxious lately and began to "medicate" herself by having several bottles of beer every evening after she put her children to bed. After around four weeks of this drinking routine, she eventually comprehended the fact that instead of helping her relax and "manage" her difficulties, drinking made her feel less restful when she awakened. This, in turn, made her feel even more stressed all through the day.
After thinking about her circumstance for a few weeks, Beth decided to talk about her drinking problem with her best friend. In fact, roughly ten minutes into their chat, Beth's friend Jennifer, told her about a very helpful and supportive doctor at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her friend, Beth without delay got motivated to call the treatment facility and schedule an appointment.
Five days later she finally got to meet the doctor her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth explained to the psychiatrist that ever since her husband and she divorced one another, she has been having a difficult time financially, spiritually, and psychologically.
As Beth was talking to the doctor, she underscored the point that she really believed that she and her former husband dated long enough to know each other good enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, however, everything seemed to fall apart. Moreover, both she and Robert started to drink, and their excessive and abusive drinking negatively affected their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.
The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her careless drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the typical symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehab.
After spending five months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was slowly but surely able to realize that the real origin of her stress and her depression was the fact that she had not worked through her nasty feelings she has for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings upset her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent person.
Armed with these insights and with the medications her psychiatrist prescribed, she eventually stopped drinking, she began to feel considerably less depressed, and she started making time for social activities with her family and friends. Not only this but a few months after receiving rehab from her doctor, she even started to date once again.
It was clear that Beth had come a long way. Indeed, just around six months after she stopped her treatment, Beth had finally laid the ghost of her ex-husband to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
