It is possible try Windows XP as the operating system. I would up grade with a microdrive. However beware, installing Windows XP the normal way, it would get stuck in a endless loop. There's trick to get it to setup the right way, however , I have not figured it out yet. I think it'd require files transferred from your typical laptop hard drive.
